PAUSO - A Moshpit for Minds

AN OPEN-SOURCE MOSHPIT - This is the Print & Play edition of PAUSO. I created this game over the course of 2 years.

The idea is simple: a core engine and an ever-changing board. PAUSO is about placing, pushing, and stacking Rings to score Points. Each round, players build one shared board on which they mosh. Mod the board, trigger effects & score points to win.

My name is Moritz, and I am a solo-founder running PAUSO pretty much by myself. When I started producing the first-ever print run of PAUSO in Winter 2025, I was humbled by learning just how long physical production takes. 
But PAUSO thrives on connecting & building together, so a Print & Play edition only makes sense. I will continue to manufacture official versions of PAUSO, and I hope that both PnP and the Official Cards can mesh into a cohesive ecosystem.

SETUP GUIDE - The universal PAUSO Card size is 7 x 7 cm. These files are formatted for Standard US Letterhead (8.5 × 11 inches) to keep card sizes consistent globally.

CRITICAL PRINT SETTING - Ensure your printer is set to 100% Scale or Actual Size. 

PAUSO PRINT & PLAY - is best printed double-sided. Page [2/2] features an expanded background to account for natural printer deviation when printing the back sides.

If you do not have access to a double-sided printer; 
print each page separately and either:

1 - Combine them using transparent card sleeves (slide a playing card in the middle for extra stiffness and weight).

2 - Use glue, tape or paper-clips to combine the blank sides.

CLASSIC: 2 Players / 12 Player Cards per Player / 4x4 Grid / 13 Base Board Cards +
1 Plus + 1 Minus + 1 Arrow

3P: 10 Player Cards per Player / 5x5 Grid 

4P: 9 Player Cards per Player / 5x5 Grid

5P: 8 Player Cards per Player / 6x6 Grid

6P: 7 Player Cards per Player / 6x6 Grid
